Question about salt.

i have a tree in a pot that's about a foot and some tall and i think it's flowering (it's a guerrilla grow). the pot is 1.5 ft tall and i put small rocks at the bottom of it and its outside gettin 6+ hrs sunlight. i put a generous amount of salt on the immediate surroundings of it because of the giant african snails (google em) in abundance that eat EVERYTHING in sight. is it possible that the salt can harm my girl even tho she's in a pot and it's bottom is filled with small rocks?

Sodium chloride will kill pretty much any form of plant, be glad they're not dead yet. Look into diatomaceous earth. I've also heard they're attracted to beer - put out a cup, they go in and either drown or dehydrate due to the alcohol. Dunno the legitimacy of this, never tried it myself.

Did you put salt in the pot? Around the pots no prob., in the pot BAD NEWS, scrape it all off and water it for ten minutes straight and check it every few hrs, if it wilts or looks burnt, do it again.
Hope its around the pot.

Peace,
Hops

Like hops said - in the pot is bad news, outside of the pot is ok. Diatomaceous earth does work and is a better alternative to salt if you ask me.
