Question about setting up a cool tube....

Setting up a second tent and going with a 600W cool tube. Most of the setups I see have the ducting connected at both ends...Has anyone ever set one up just using a high cfm exhaust fan at one end,pulling the air out of the room leaving the other end open?? I also have a booster fan for the intake which will be ducted separately... In my mind this works... just wondering if I'm missing something? My logic here is that if BOTH ends are ducted you're not doing anything for air transfer and will need a separate fan for that, and I'd like to pull it off if possible with just one..

How are you going to filter the air?

Carbon filter-> cool tube-> in line fan-> exterior.

well I wasn't planning on using a filter... I'm not overly concerned with odor...
My plan was to attach the exhaust fan via ducting to the cooltube, and shoot it right out the window with a 6" port... My only concern is getting rid of the heat from the 600

...then it'll work fine

good news~! Thank you SnaFuu... as with all things I figured I'd be in for a little trial and error but got nervous when I didn't see ONE setup like I'd envisioned in my head online.... youtube, etc....

I've got mine open ended like your sayin, works perfect. I don't need a filter at the moment either
