depends entirely on how you define, "ridden", and how many pounds of leaves you have actually thrown away.
what i define as a 'stoner' would see little point though. They usually don't have the time for it either.
to a poor bastard like me, i fail to see the reasoning of spending cold hard cash for nutrients, equipment, and electricity, just to pay someone to haul the results to the dump for me.
I'm squeezing every bit i can out.
males contain more THC than the females during early development I thought.
once identified, chop and process the devil out of it.
I friggin love cannabutter and oil extracts....who would ever do that sort of thing to their GIRLS?

Just cull the males and get rid of them. It will just give you a headache otherwise. Cannabutter isn't made from your buds, its made from the leftover trimmings that still have crystals on em. I fail to see how an immature male plants with no buds would have more thc. How many males do y'all end up with anyways? Must not be setting up a proper environment.

I haven't grown any males yet....or females...I only have sprouts!

I have eaten some shortbread claimed to be made with only male stems and leaf though....and wow. I'm a believer.
I am currently running on the belief that nature doesn't make males just for pollen.
I also run on the idea that the males provide a more medicinal effect rather than the beatings females give out.
being a newb and only growing two plants FOR medicinal use, I must remain optimistic.
For some odd reason, I feel female leaf and stem, should be processed by hand.
Carefully and lovingly...due diligence and all.
Males can go in the fancy tumbler thing or the pressure cooker.
I'll find out eventually.
