Question about THC percentages

In thc tests done by accredited labs, Thai Sticks came in at 11% thc and hash like Royal Nepalese Temple Balls and Jalalabad Spagetti Sticks, 2 of the most potent hashes in the world, come in at between 12% and 15% thc.

How is it possible then that buds from certain types of weed are said to contain up to 28% thc when hash is concentrated resins and Thai Sticks are still the best Cannabis in the world?

I think it simply means that the numbers given by the seed vendors/breeders are probably wrong, but I am just guessing. Maybe the numbers for the cannabis are determined by the amount of THC inside the resin head. The hash is being determined by THC against overall volume. Again, I do not work in a lab so I cannot tell how they derive the figures.

I do know that I have had strains that were supposed to be mind killing super sens and been disappointed. I have had mid-grades that would rank among the best highs/stones I have ever had. I simply ignore the numbers and defer to experiences of smoking it, either myself or others.

What dogs me is the 11% thc on the Thai sticks, I mean is there anything better than Thai sticks?if there is I haven't seen it yet.

I hear ya! I had some Chocolate Thai when I was a teenager and still remember it 20 years later. There are only a few other buds I have smoked that the memory lingers...

that chocolate thai is killer. had some last year.

the whole THC% is pretty ludicrous if you think about it. The high is from the ratio of CBD's and THC.
