Question about Timing & Frost

I figured out from the responses on my other thread that I have a few more weeks to grow. Some say towards November, another said Mid-ish November..... I respect their opinions and now I'm moving on to plan B...

PLAN B:

Study the hell out of the Weather Almanac, Watch the Weather Diligently, and go until the FIRST FROST.

What do you all think? On the 15th of October I'll be 16Weeks.
Project Frost for my area is not even forecasted in the month of October... Maybe I've been good this year and it'll hold off until the first week of November...... BUT... I may have been bad....in that case...What if I get a Frost Prediction between now and Mid November?

It is a real hardy plant. 6X6. Gorgeous buds.

You can bring it in if potted or try and cover if in the ground. If not, it will be what it will be. No down side in riding it out as long as possible.

If it's in the ground they can take a night or 2 at as low as 29F and if the days are still in the near 70 they can survive. But once they freeze you'll be able to see it, and then chop it.

If you're in a container above ground the roots will freeze much sooner than the plant and if the plant dies from root death then the bud will really take a hit. Where as if the plant above the ground freezes the bud is still good, I think it helps if you can cut the day after the frost event.

Well if you have done your weathering research you will know that this year is an El niño. .so frost will ...well should be pushed back, so you may get lucky

My plants took a little frost last night but they purk back up quickly but mine have also been around 40f at night all summer long up in the mtns. You will find some strains are very hardy to the cold
