Question about watering

Is the soil dry? If yes they will die plants need water...
12/12 will throw them into flower, is that what you wanting to do?
If you leave for the weekend I suggest giving them a good water and rasing the lights so the foliage doesnt reach up to high and get burned..good luck
Why would you put them on a flowering cycle so soon??? That makes no sence, and your plants really wont get very big at all Wont b worth your time to grow.
You only really need 18 hrs on and 6 hrs off to grow plants and they will do just fine. Befor you leave make sure the soil is moist and that the plant wont touch the light while your gone. A friend of mine put her plants on that cycle and they did just fine. Then after 16 days she put them into flowering which is 12 on and 12 off (COMPLETE DARKNESS). you will have 20 inch plants or taller with atleast 2 oz's per plant. BUT you have to grow them for a total of 68 or so days till harvest . Make sure that your lights are as close as there suposed to be to get the most out of your lumins. Question what lights do you use???? if its a florecent then you should keep the light no more then 3 inches from the plant at all times and continue to add them around your plants for optimal growth.

You can leave the lights off. I've done it numerous times. They just rest, and do non-photosynthetic activity like store water/nutrient reserves. They even grow a bit.
