Not a bad thing to do but dont do it every time, atleast in soil, in coco i could see why ud do that i guess. In soil its good to give it enough water till u get a decent amount of runoff every so often if ur using synthetic ferts to help flush out some built up salts.11 liters is 2.905 US gallons.
I give my plants about a gallon of water per size of pot, so if my pot is 3 gal, like yours is, approximately, I'd give 3 gal of water. If it's hot and dry they may need more and if not that should suffice. How often you water is determined by how fast they dry out.
