Question bout using sunlight & CFL Bulbs.

So I've attempted to search this question to no avail. Anyway, I have to ability to put my plants in direct sunlight most of the day; to save on electricity can I use the sunlight then put my plants under the CFL's afterwards? In other words can I essentially mix and match my plants with sun AND CFL bulbs??

Yes you can.

i do it with t5s it works well, better than t5s alone. the girls love the sun and i use the t5s to make sure they get enough hours of light

If you are putting them outside just watch for bugs. I am doing this with CFLs and Sun right now and I have a small case of Leafhoppers going on right now. They are mite predators so I am not killing them yet just keeping them under control (I think I have 4 LoL)
