question for experts in nutrient control.

So i was given this nutrient by a fellow grower, he uses a veg nutrient mix for his vegging plants, and this for his flower. Ive had my plants in miracle gro for veg and there doing great, the miracle gro says it feeds for UP TO 3 months, yet with all the 10% run off they get with every other water i have a feeling that 3 months will be closer to 1-2 but i could very well be wrong, only my second grow. My main question is, does this nutrient mix look sufficient for flower, the numbers seem a tad high on it? And do you think there will be too many remaining nutrients in my soil when it comes time to flower to even use this nutrient mix? Or instead of 2 tbsp per gallon should i do 1? This is where the trickyness of miracle gro comes in because you cant really tell when the soil is out of nutrients until your plant shows signs, so all opinions of people with experience, or like i said in the title are experts in nutrient control are appreciated.

Forgot to mention, whats that chelated iron it shows there .1% of? Never seen that before

It's just very high phosphate food. The amount of iron (and everything else) is minimal.
You really want something more balanced.
Excess phosphates can cause magnesium lockout. They are also very immobile in soil so unlikely to be washed out in comparison to Nitrogen.

if i decided to use half dosage do you think it would be sufficient for flower? + the remaining nutrients leftover from the mg. Or even a 1/4 dosage in early flower and work my way up?

you will probably need to supplement your plants with calcium and magnesium and other micronutrients.

whats the rating on the bottle, the NPK ratios? from what i understand, miracle grow is pretty even like 10-10-10 or so, if thats the case i would use it from start to finish, as a supplement, but not the only thing.

for veg you want more nitrogen, for flower you want more potassium and phosphorus. Its ok-ish to keep feeding all 3 from start to finish, its actually good to do so, but your wasting money after a certain point.

id use half strength MG, and boost up the specific nutrients that your plants need, depending their stage(s), or current deficiencies. Check my thing on organic nutes, most are cheap or free and they give amazing results. that stuff you have pictured there is great for flowering, use it diluted tho, anything with ratios higher then 10 or 15 or so make me worry.

chelated means chelation, its a chemistry term for how the molecules are bound together. In theory, its so they are more soluble (they dissolve easier in water) and are less likely to react (mix) with other chemicals, creating new compositions, new chemicals, or salts.

when shopping, stick with liquid nutrients, and anything thats already water soluble (like potash instead of potassium is great, nitrate instead of nitrogen... means basicallly its already broken down into water, and much more easily absorbed by the roots, not a big deal day to day, but when you have a deficiency and need a quick fix, potash will work faster then just potassium, etc...)

but you did answer one question, that the mix i have is good for flower. Just hoping the mg soil doesnt give me screwey side effects.

bro you will be fine using that super bloom.. and Ive been using miracle gro for like 13 years lol. I start off slow with the nutes. Less is more. Just give them 1/2 recommended dose and slowly work your way up.. I personally use General Hydroponics FloraDuo part A and B and FloraMicro... Great results every damn time.. Tried tons of other nutes and that stuff works great in my dwc and soil.. I also plan on using it in my aeroponic setup when im done building it. Goodluck :bigjoint:
