Hello friends,

I have 2-90watt led floodlights at my disposal that I was hoping I could use for growing. The brand is electro-matic. I cant find the exact model on their website empledlighting.com but they look closest to their parking lot lights. From what info I have gathered they use cree xp-g led's color temp. 4745k - 5311k CRI>75 with a medium light distribution. Each fixture has 3- 30 watt light bars with 14 led's each bar. They seem like solid well made lights.

Sooo whadya guys think? Are they worth trying to use? I was hoping I could use them for vegging at least given the color temp.

Any help is appreciated.

They'll do fine for vegging. I wouldn't bother to use them in flowering stage.

Cool. I forgot to mention they would be replacing a 400w MH. Do y o u think both 90w fixtures would be enough or should I supplement with some t5ho's?
