is it okay to use the "Fox Farm Grow Big" and "Fox Farm Big Bloom" at the same time? 2 of my plants are 1 month old and the other two i just got from the club about a week ago.

Yes, you can use both in conjunction with each other. If you look at the feeding schedule on their website, you can get a general idea.

Im just wrapping up a grow using Fox Farm Trio and Soluble Tri-Pack. Gotta say I'm not impressed for the money I spent. I got buds that are good and tasty but the hassles Fox Farm gave me I won't be using them again. Go really light with them. It's spicy stuff. I used 1/4 strength of the suggested amounts on the grow schedule for the first 3 weeks then finally went to half strength. I briefly stepped up to full strength and burned them. I'm back to half now. It's also really muddy and I'm a clean freak about my grow areas so I wasn't impressed. The BIGGEST issue I had was a serious and steady drop in pH after 2 days. This happened using RO water and using Tap water. It would drop from 6.0 on day one to <4.8 by the end of day two. Took HUGE amounts of GH pH up to get it back up. It just sucked. One plant finished and the other two are soon to be done. Got an OZ. off the one I alread cut. Smokes good.

If your using a 1 tsp per gallon regiment. In your early part of growing use 3/4tsp of grow and 1/4 tsp of bloom. towards the end of grow use 3/4 grow and 3/4 bloom. first week of flowering flush your plants and check your PPM and PH. Then address your ppms with 1tsp of grow and 1/2 tsp of bloom making a tsp and 1/2 total. use that regiment wk 1&2 which is your stretch week. week 4-5 of flowering i switch to tigerbloom. Use a full tblspn per gallon every other watering unless you have porous medium and then every water. What kinda micros and supplementals are you using? Stay away from urea or ammonical ferts during week 1-3 cause of stretching.

I'll agree with this dude...DO NOT use the recommended amounts. Use LESS then what the chart says at first and gradually set it up. It is powerful stuff. I nearly burned all my plants going with the recommended amounts. Luckily I flushed them in time. Just follow the chart on their site, but use less then what they say to.

I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Grow Big, Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom and have had ZERO issues using them as advertised at full strength.

No problems, no adjustments, no burning, finish was great.

I put my clones in FFOF as soon as I see roots.

I am growing Super O.G. , Sour Diesel and C-4 at the moment.

I just don't have anything negative to say :eyesmoke:

try that with a few different strains other than the ones your running and then tell me bout the burn.

running at half strength is 1200-1400ppm with ph adjustment & 0ppm r.o water.

I've grow exactly the same with NO PROBLEMS growing Trainwreck, Triple O.G. and Bubba Kush.

I don't think it is the strain of weed I am growing. I think people are burning them because they get caught up in the numbers and don't watch their plants.

or

They use R.O. water which can cause nute deficiency if you don't use Cal/Mag.

There are a lot more factors in a grow than the nutes and Fox Farms is a very good one.

Just my $0.02 :blsmoke:

P.S - Gr8Gr33nz - I looked for your grow journal and I don't see one, just questions about which nutes to use in an Aeroflo system, so how are you giving advice, like you know what you are talking about?

im in the process mang.. busted a laser line water valve so im awaiting it to be here next week sometime. pissed my seedlings are getting stretched all to shit and have my hydroton soaking in hygrozyme waiting but im gonna go ahead and drop them in the cups for now. Ive done soil and fox farms for a while now and this will be soon my first hydro attempt so i know nothing bout dro. ive got a good few under the belt i suppose it is all in your watering regimen for your full strength.. i water my ladies at half strength because i burned a few with full but i flood them bitches out 2-3 times a week with the fox farms with good genetics but ive never got my hands on any cuts unfortunately im not in cali.

I use all FoxFarm nutes. The liquid trio and the soluble trio. I grew red dragon and bubblicious simultaneously and the bubblicious just drank up the fertilizer at full strength while the red dragon could barely tolerate 1/2 strength. I really think that different strains require different regiments :)

in my opinion it seems that most sativas burn easily and i would never do full strength with em.. my Hawaiian snow can`t handle but half strength..

Oh yeah, the Cha-Ching seems to really boost trichome production. My buds look fuzzy and white under the HPS lamp (and remain sticky no matter how much you dry them!), lol. The stuffs a bit expensive, but you only use a little so it lasts quite a while.
As to FF nutes, thats all I'll use. I run the entire FF line up at full recommended strength to feed my girls in 3 gallon pots of FFOF, which I usually cut slightly (say about 20%) with additional perlite. I follow the schedule exactly, except I often add some additional Big Bloom in later stages, just to help promote proper nutrient uptake. I've never had nutrient burn with any of the 5 strains I grow in FF soil/nutrients, although I am aware that isues could develop with some certain strains.

I use the ff liquid trio and oceanforest soil with decent results but i always seem to get ph issues when i introduce the tiger bloom at 1/4 strenghth (1/2 tsp per gal.). I ph the stuff up to 7 and 3 days later the runoff is below 5 and its a pretty big swing that i'd like to protect the ladies from. do you guys have these issues? do you buffer the soil with lime or anything? I use tap water thru a brita that comes out at 7 exacty. the big bloom doesn't give me issues probably because it's organic and way less potent. I rarely use the grow big because the oceanforest is pretty hot and i don't usually veg for longer than 3 weeks after transplant, but when i do use it i have a similar issue. any ideas? could it still be the water? I really need to start avoiding killing the lower fan leaves so early in bloom. They get all crispy and eventually just die instead of yellowing to a riper age and just wilting like they should.

Every time I use Tiger, I higher the ph. Tiger drops the ph quite a bit, but if you add some PH UP to it, you should be alright.
