Thanks Swerve!id say expect the size you flip at to be 3 times that sometimes youll get lucky if you hit them heavy with p & k early they will not stretch as much but figure at min double the hieght so do what we do when growing sensi we double trelis.. first about a foot and a half above the plant or a foot depending then a foot above that or so... just depends on your recipe though.. i wrote al this and realized i should ask do you move your plants you they stay where they are when they are flowering? as everything i suggested would be pointless if you move your plants. as the best route there is the tomato cages for support....
Yes I move them, I was planning to move them at about 12" - 14" and if they tripled they would end up somewhere between 3' and 3'6".
The question was really more like do you think setting up a single (let alone double) trellis net would be worth it? The Tomato cages you mentioned would be wayyyy easier to deal with in my set up. I could just put the cage on when i move them into bloom room and they could stretch till their hearts content.
I plan on topping them for 4 so I'm thinking they should get pretty bushy. The tomato cage sounds better & better the more I think about it....
