Question from a noob

Hey guys how long does it take to grow an autoflowering strain??--thanks

it is supposed to take off 2 weeks, either in the veg or flowering, sorry i am not sure which one.

I've never grown an auto strain. That being said, I think most autos don't grow very big, so I'd *guess* around 3 months, start to finish? I'm sure it also depends on the genetics also. Some may start to flower earlier than others. Someone with experience with auto's needs to chime it.....

autos typically veg for 2/3 weeks then go into flower and flower for anything up to 11weeks depends on strain lr2s areready in roughly 9 weeks

my current auto grow which is maxi GoM is only 3 weeks in and already half a metre tall andi got like another 7 weeks to go

would the auto still work for me if i am using flouros? i didnt think it would be. but i guess it would cut time off from it somehow..

yeah you cangrow autos under flouros np i used 200 watt t5s for my first auto grow

Your autos will still work under flouros, yes. Its not the light schedule or type of light that influences the autoflower as much as its genetics. It'll flower when it wants to, under whatever light you have, as long as its the right spectrum of light.

also id recommend 18/6 all the way through just my point of view

It really depends on the particular autoflower....I've had some finish in 65 days from seed (la diva from delicious seeds)....ran it 24 hours under a 400w mh/hps and it did about 31g dry..........Then again, doing 2 others right now (blue diesel from short stuff, Super Cali Haze from Short Stuff)...and getting different results....B.D. is about to finish (90 days from seed approx)...where as my Cali Haze is nearing 5 months and it just now starting to show flowering once I moved it into 12/12....proving that sometimes the Auto genetics aren't as strong.....Autos I'm not a huge fan of....Cant clone em without damn near killing it in stress, don't yield much and are very unpredictable, both sexing (even fem) and with flowering times.....
