question from noob

Hey guys I am a real noob at all this should I get a 125 watt cfl feliz bulb and reflector or a 150 watt Sun System HPS with 16000 lumens.To me there are pros and cons to both.Can I VeG and flower with an HPS????You guys are good at this what would you get???thanks

get a dual spectrum hps bulb mate, work great..

Get the 150W HPS, in either case 2 plants max and you're golden.

Flouro. Benefits, er, er, er fked if I can think of a benefit a cfl has over HPS if they are similar power useage. (They last longer than HPS bulbs but are more expensive to buy per W) I know this will upset some cfl growers but get over it guys! HPS will offer more lumens per W, less heat per W are more efficient per W. By almost any measurement, HPS out performs CFL's once you match up power useage. The only advantage I can think of for CFL over HPS is the bulbs last longer. I researched this so thoroughly about 6 months ago. I was convinced CFL's would work out better than HPS but every time, the argument went like this. Why am I buying a light? To help my plants grow. What light gives me the most light for my money? HPS. Does the alternative offer anything HPS cannot? No. Then why am I even considering anything else. Get the idea? W
