Hey just to be sure, with the boveda 62 packs, do you just throw your hung dry buds after 5-7 days where at lil branches snapping, bigger ones folding, (but you hear some tearing) right into the jar with one of these packs in it right out of the packaging? No spraying water or prep at all?
And once they're in there, you just leave it alone, no burping or opening the jar whatsoever for how long? 5 days? Then what? Do you just leave it in there forever and keeo your stuff in there with it always until you use it all up after a few months?
Id like answers from people who've personally used them if any of you are out there. THANKS!

I have been using Boveda packs for a long time. I keep one in my guitar case, cigar box and in my marijuana jars. I have some jars dating back over 10 years. The process is simple, you follow the same steps, you dry, then you trim, then you put your buds in a jar that has a good seal and then you attach a Boveda pack inside the lid and close the jar.
The pack will get hard when it needs to be replaced, usually 3 months to 1 year . As the humidity stabilizes, so will the pack.
My experience with the humidity packs over many years has been very positive, And I highly recommend them.
It brings peace of mind and you can store some of your favourite for years, months or weeks.
I hope I was able to help out with my explanation.

I'm just trying to make sure I don't get hay smelling bud
You'll get the hay smelling if you let it dry to quick while hanging, mold if to wet in jars, etc. Boveda is nice if your close to the range to keep it where it's at when curing in the jar. Won't prevent the hay smell if you screw up and dry to quick before the packs go in during the cure.

Well I live in the desert.. I don't know how to not dry that quick. It's like 20% rh but in the closet they're drying in, my gauge says like 50-70% cause they're so wet still. But I don't know how to really get rid of that smell
