Question of jar humidity

So I put my weed in jars on Oct 12 and humidity was around 65% so I dumped them out for 20 minutes. The next day they were at 64% and I burped twice for 15 each time. The jars are at 62% this morning on day 3 in the jars and not sure what to do.

Should I just do a short 5-20 minute one time burp a day or more. I live in Colorado and house is around 38%which is why I’am hesitated to leave jars open to long. Thank you for any help and feedback.

Do a short burp once a day until they get to 58%, then just check daily and burp as required to keep about 58, after a week or two they will be good no more burping needed.

It seems you're on the right track, once you're at ~<60%, you can keep the jars sealed

*Swap another hygrometer if you got one and compare, those little guys are notoriously variable

I recommend boost packs. With humidity as low as yours is it is nice to burp a minute or 2 or 5 and have the moisture level stay steady. I reco boost packs and burp jars leaving the buds and packs in the jar while you burp. All you need is air exchange, being open longer is if you are still working on lowering the %.
