i read everywhere to something like burp 4 times the first day, 2 or 3 the next 2 or 3 days, then once a week or something to that effect.
it seems the whole idea is to slowly dry the buds to 62% or 55% or whatever target rh in between.
its all about burping on a schedule, but it seems to me you should take both the jar and the ambient rh into consideration.
so if it is 62% in the jar and 63% in the house, and my target is 60%, its stupid to burp, right?
i dried for 6 days on drying racks in a room with a ceiling fan on high and rh of 66% at 75 deg for 5 days then 55-60% rh the last. jarred when it was 60% ambient, 18 qt jars with hygrometers in 4, and all they have done is oscillate between 60 and 62% for 24 hours. so if it doesnt go up, do i still just let it sit and cure for ~4 weeks?
or maybe the moisture is so deep so after the relatively fast dry time of 6 days it will take 3 or 4 days for the moisture to get to the surface?
