Question on light schedule

OK this is my 2nd grow attempt using 3-75w CFL grow lamps. i just planted 6 seeds that sprouted and i was wondering what light schedule to use. Do i start with a 24/7 for two weeks then go with a 18/6 for 6 weeks then start the 12/12? The seeds are from a killa bag of local bud we call "corn" or "popcorn"

Most people do 18/6. Although many would argue that 24 is good for a few weeks. I'm stickin with the 18/6 for mine. I'm a first timer so i m goin with the majority on this one

It's entirely up to you man. Either will work. What did you do last time, how were the results? I'd suggest 24/7 for a while with those lights though. Just my .02 cents.

Well I only germinate and veg for a month indoors. My light setup is very simple, just a single 125 watt CFL bulb with hood. I used to do 18/6, until I tested the 24/0 method for myself and seen increased growth. Before taking the plants outside I do add in some dark period over the course of a week, while at the same time I'm hardening them off. One time I didn't add any dark period and the plants stretched by a few inches in one night. I think if your using a high wattage HPS then you want to factor in electricity costs too. In my case, the costs are negligible.

While I was germinating I ran 2 23WATT CFL 24/7 until I went to Veg. When I went to veg I went to 18/6 with 4 23WATT CFL's. Ran that until I switched to flower. Then went to 12/12 and to 6 23WATT CFL's...
