Question on Proper Flushing for my plant

I am wanting to flush my plant because the lower leaves are looking alittle burnt and it looks difnent. What is the proper way to flush for a 1 gallon pot: to flush 3 gallons of PHed water and let it dry and the feed it like half strength nutes? or do I just water with 3 gallons of PHed water and then water right after that with half strength nutes to to feed the plant or do I just flush with 3 gallons of PHed mild nute mix? Thanks for your help!!:hump: First Post Oh snap

But when do I add the Nutes? Right after I flush of after I flush plain water and then let it dry and then nutes?

When you give more nutes to your plant depends on the condition of your plant. If it has bad nute burn, then I would flush it and not give it any more nutes for a while. If the nute burn is not too bad then you could go with a milder nute solution right after flushing.

What do you mean by mild, Like half strength? I was thinking of using half strength Foxfarm Grow big, on the bottle it says to use 1 tsp per gallon for soil and the Foxfarm chart says to use 2-3 tablespoons of GrowBig. My plant is lacking a nutrient, mang Mg or Sulfur

I was wanting to possible also use alittle MagiCal Nute by TechnaFlora

Well I just flushed my plant with 3 gallons 6.4 Phed water..The soil PH was low. NOw that I have flushed, do I wait until it drys to start feeding nutes, or feed them some nutes now I just flushed them like 5 mins ago?

After pouring 3 gallons of water into 1 gallon soil you should let it dry some, I'm not saying let it get bone dry but you don't want to drown your plants. Thats somewhat dependent on how good your drainage is though. There should be at least a little left over nutrients in the soil. I'd just watch the plant and let it tell me what it needs...If its starts showing signs of needing nutes then give it some nutes of a lesser quantity then what you did the first time to burn it.

Yes, you can add the nutes right away after flushing if it needs it. But like Mr. Thumb says, watch your plants for indications of what it needs. If its a mg problem then water with a tsp of epson salt and your reg nute formula. I don't use the foxfarm line up so I have no idea what the proper feeding dosage should be. I would just use 1/2 what the recommended amount is till the plant is healthy again.

I actually just flushed it with 2 gallons of plain water and then the last gallon I flushed with a mild Nute solution. The next time I water. Will I need to just water with play water or start it back on nutes?

Why are you adding nutes if you are trying to flush a nute problem away? Flush with plain ph'd water at 3x the amount. Let it sit for several days and see how it recovers.
If you think you have a mag deficiency, then add some cal-mag+ from botanicare into your next feeding.
mild nutes = 1/4 to 1/2 strength.

I thought it would be ok to flush with a mild nute solution with the last gallon of water. The first 2 were plain water. I have read where people flush with mild nute water.

I actually just flushed with 2 gallons of water and the 3rd gallon I used 1/3 nute strength for the rest of the flush..It says on the bottle to feed, water, water, feed, I am wondering if I should follow that or what because it is still lacking nutes. My question is what should when water in 2 days. Should I add more nutes or follow the schedule on the bottle. PLEASE HELP ME
