ok, i have a homebox xl. It's dimensions are 47.25" wide x 47.25" deep x 78.75" tall. I have a 600watt cooltube hps light. I was thinking of doing a SOG, how many plants could i get away with in this tent? how long should they be vegged for? do i give them and veg nutes or just keep them in my soil mix? what would be a good strain for these dimensions? i was thinking of whiteberry, ak-47, white russian, killing fields, or hericlues. does anyone have any experinece with this strains doing a sog?

i would go with a indica strain
don't pay attention to these stoners!
they're not reading right. SOG = SEA OF GREEN SCROG = SCREEN ON TOP OF THE PLANT TO MAKE THE CANOPY!
you can do more than 4.
I grew 6 in a smaller space than that not too long ago. (only 2 ended up being female) the secret is, if you're using soil, to use SQUARE containers, or BAGS. this lets you put them close together. don't buy perfectly round containers, these waste space. even eliptical shaped 3gal trash cans are better than perfectly round planters.
you want to do a SOG, or sea of green right? try and fit 10-12 clones in that space. 3 rows of 4 plants each, or 4 rows of 3 plants each....... set it up so the plants close to the opening are the oldest, and the first to go into flower go in the back.
plan it well and you could be turning over 3-4 plants about every other week, each plant giving you 10-15 grams.....
those that say only 4 plants will do don't know how SOG's work, or understood wrong.... or want you to grow a few HUGE plants, which is not what a SOG is........
