I have a question for those who may have tried both the ebb and flow and ebb and grow methods. I'm currently working on developing my new grow room and I'm considering one of the two options. I've grown in soil in the past and have a little knowledge of hydro but with the exception of building a DIY cloning unit using DWC method I've had little luck.
I'm looking to grow large plants due to my space restraints. I figure I'll let the plants each veg to 1' to 2' before moving to flowering. I'm concerned with an ebb and flow table method I'll end up in the lights or ceiling before the cycle ends. With the ebb and grow I'm concerned about the roots filling the containers to a point of causing issues, drain clogs, root rot, etc.
Anyone had luck with growing trees with either method? Any shortcomings or thoughts I should consider?
