you can use the uvb light along with a good light source for flowering, it is said that uvb produces more crystal on my plant but i have not yet to see someone prove it yet.

Just get those scales off, and nurse it back to health. Seriously, no point in just killing it after all its been through. Get some better lighting, like CFL's or whatever you can get, and get that thing nice and healthy, then flower it. You will get some good bud off of it, I mean its deffently matured, after a year of vegging.

I say get "it" (dunno what to call it) soaked in gasoline, throw in a bonfire and put out the smoldering ashes with holy water. Bury 6 feet deep under your nemesis's yard.
Buy a sack of bug bombs, insert inside the growroom and leave it like that for a week. Air out, call an exorcist and you're good for your next grow.

if you have been growing that plant for a year you might as well finish it out.....at least see what kind of bud you're going to get from it....watch it be the dankest shit you've smoked....or not....but it would be more about sentiment to me. If i invested a year into my first plant i wouldn't let some little ass scale creatures keep me from finishing it out. Think how rewarding it will be to know that shit is finally done. Meanwhile i'd start some more seeds and hope for better results next time

hey, serioulsy, you should burn one and see what it smells like. It COULD be some sort of deformity in the plants genetics that make it unable to flower properly. Bottom line, you might have a retarded plant. You'll have to put a handicap sticker on your pipe though, don't wanna get a ticket.

I've done some research on those scale insects, Pull em, kill em, and continue to grow em. The plant should survive. The grow their eggs inside of the females, and yes they do suck the nutrients out of the plant which will look like a sap, or resin. You can save. Just dont waste any time pulling those alien viruses off them, or they will kill it.

I say pluck the scales......you must have been feeding it something good for it tohave survived a year, with parasites living off of it as a host....that host plant has to be as strong as superman. Flower it, cure it, and give a couple bong hits to one of your closest enemies....if he comes back for more, you did good. If he dies, you still win!!!
