The idea of that meter sounds really good. I bought one myself but it’s mostly trash. Sometimes I know it’s fully watered and it won’t give a correct reading. I wouldn’t trust it. Keep a log of your waterings. What days and how much, etc. keep a consistent schedule. And make a habit of lifting that pot to get an idea on the weight of it when it’s fully watered. The finger method is kind of iffy as well. Just my experience. Good luck.I have a soil meter that detects the wetness of the soil do i water when it gets to 0 or when it gets to around the 1 or 2 and do I have water it all the way to 10?
