Hey Kensou

I've never ordered from them but I've been through their website several times and read about them in several threads.

They seem to be a self distributing breeder who take famous strains' genetics and breed their own version. There is nothing wrong with that, the seeds could be excellent - or they could be horrid. The thing is they use the name that others worked hard to build and send out their own knock offs.

AK47 is one of my favorite example, these guys could source the parent plants and make a decent copy of Serious' famous plant, or they could take two AKs and make a less stable AK cross - we don't know because the breeder doesn't list the genetic lineage. So you might be growing from an F2, or you might have a decent knockoff, but they will not be the same quality that Simon breeds for Serious.

I've read that breeders can get over a thousand seeds from a plant - at 100 packs of 10 seeds each thats $7900.00 USD for one AK47 plant. So they're not going hungry to give you cheap seeds.

Another problem is their misleading advertising:

AK 47 SEEDS £49 GBP ($79 USD) 10 AK 47 Seeds

2003: 2nd - High Times Cannabis Cup (Sativa Cup)
1999: 2nd - High Times Cannabis Cup (Sativa Cup)
1996: 3rd - High Times Cannabis Cup (Hydro Cup)
1994: 3rd - High Times Cannabis Cup (Overall)
1994: 2nd - High Times Cannabis Cup (Hydro Cup)

AK-47 Seeds are easy to grow yet very strong and is therefore very popular. AK 47 plants are medium height and produce excellent yields quite quickly. Extremely strong odour and smoke. Quality without compromise makes AK-47 suitable for commercial grows or home use. AK-47 has a short flowering period for a sativa, producing compact, not too leafy buds that gleam with a coat of resin crystals. AK 47 Seeds are an absolute must!

TYPE: Mostly Sativa PLANT
HEIGHT:
Short, 45cm-55cm indoor FLOWERING TIME: 7-9 Weeks

HARVEST: mid-end Oct
YIELD
350 - 500 grams/m2 Indoor

.

Looks great, but this breeder and this version of AK47 has never won a cup at the local coffee shop. Plus they are $79 USD for 10 seeds and at Attitude Serious beans are on $113 USD - for $34 go with the best.

Seeds are the least expensive part of your grow, buy from the best breeder you can afford - a lot of the best breeders have some of the lowest prices.
