i heard somewhere u should water ur plants more often in the last couple weeks of the grow just wantin 2 know if its true or not?

The last couple of weeks are the flushing period (1 weekif hydro). In this time you simply feeed them with lots of water (not enough to overwater them) so that the plant uses up all the nutrients it has within, and the water also helps to flush exxcess nutrients out of the soil.

Aside from flushing, it's the opposite. Excess watering, invites bud mold, late in flowering. Especially, if you have nice dense buds. The bigger and denser, the more the risk. Some strains are more susceptible than others. Of course, if you have the humidity within an acceptable range(around 30-40%), and your ventilation up to par, the risks are minimal.
