Question !

If somebody is in a situation where its difficult to get certain materials etc for growing and literally can only get a few 25w cfls, general plant food and no fancy ferts and only has a cabinet and the cfls and pots with standard potting soil, is it possible to go all the way to flowering stage and finish?
The smell etc is not important and i cant get hold of a pc fan where i am??
I can get standard stuff like baby bio, but also if i did use any type of feed for the plants, I will need to use the most basic method of feeding them ie waeing can or something!!!!!
My job means im very restricted as Im in a remote place, basically if i cant get it from a general supermarket im screwed! The bud doesnt have to be that great as anything is better than nothing and its killing me not having a smoke, i have had to turn to watching internet porn and shit tv all night! Please help!
ALSO I have read all the threads and researched as I know you guys get pissed at the ammount of qs on 1st time grows etc as it can get tedious but my situation is abit different so im asking and thats it lol thanks in advance for any advice anybody can give me
BTW My accomodation has acs in the room so will that be enough
Also its probably perfect conditions here to put them ouddoors at some stage but I cant find a private spot anywhere.

You can definately grow on the cheap with everyday supplies.
Any well draining soil mix, and regular houseplant fertilizer will work fine.
Use as many CFL bulbs as you can, and keep them close to the plants.

Get yourself some seeds and let her rip. There is always someone here who can help you if need be.

Good luck

cheers mate how many 25w cfls can i get away with for 2 plants do you think? should i add more to flower them?
eg: 2 to vegetate 4 to flower
Ive been scared about adding any plant food in case i mess it up, should i just follow the ammount it suggests for a standard house plant?

The more light available the bigger your harvest will be - this is true in vegetative growth, and flowering.
Use as many bulbs as you can come up with, the power used is minimal, and the bulbs are cheap.

Follow the directions on the nutes you use, and adjust as needed, again if you are not sure about something ask away.

Thankyou mate, Just to give you a run down on the grow, I found a box on a demolition site its nice and sturdy and it has white soft plastic type panels, which i know is good for the lights, problem is ive had to stick gaffa tape everywhere to hold up my lamps(nicked from the lounge!) Unforunately the panels crack if i try fixing pins or drilling holes, so im just going to find some flexible lamps that can free stand??.
I have 2 cfls 'daylight' 23w and 1 'brightwhite 23w cfl (im fairly sure its blyuish) I actually have a 65w daylight bulb but i need to find a lamp that will take 65w because all the ones ive found only take up to 50 its a brain fuck! Ive decided on just putting 2x 23w daylight, the big bugger (if i can) and at least 1 redish bulb, 2 if poss. But I really need to find a solution to fixing the lights securely before I add any more as I dont have any type of fan etc in there and the top of the grow box is getting really warm. Im thinking just a really small fan, will i need an extractor fan built in as well because I have a big ac running in the room??? I was thinking to cool thetop of the box to put foil?

It can be done on the cheap yes, butt your mssing some key components. You need to have good ventilation because te plants need fresh air and to get rid of extra heat. Also, your going to need to buy lots of those lights. You have no pos office wher youcan get stuff shipped to you or a hardware store to get supplies?

No mate, long story!! But there is a supermarket with small fans, extractor fans etc would that do it? Im not bothered about the smell, its he box getting hot and the plants heath im worried about.
They have cfls so ill get a load more but i thought the big 65w bulb should be enough with 2xdaylight cfl 23w and a 4100k bright white 23w which i dont even knoiw if i should use.
I was just going to add a couple of warm/soft cfls to the mix and i thought would be enough maybe ?
