Questions about flowering

Hi,

I've been here for a few months and probably never seen this post. I can't afford a HPS System at the moment, can i flower with a MH system? Or am I asking for trouble? All I have is 450w CFLs and 400w MH setup.

yup it will work if that all you got add some 2700k cfls

u can use mh to flower i thought that was for veg an hps to flower

yup it can be done just better to use hps for flower better spectrum for flowering but mh can get the job done may hurt on yield a lil

i should toss a mh in there with my grow how far do u keep those kind of lights away like a lil over a foot

what size is it

i dont have one yet but prolby like 100 to 150 watt

Will Mh yield better than cfls?

if you got a proper way of cooling you can get it like 6 inches away

not if you have a good way of cooling you want to have it as close as you can without burning just like cfl

got ya thanks ill b getting one

never cooled my cfls. Just moved them when needed. Ill just dangle the mh bulb from the ceiling. My setup for the mh bulb is from the dinosaur age.
