questions about seeds showing up in buds

I have a question about seeds showing up in my buds. Off a plant I'm flushing ,I got a couple tester buds cause I F'ed up and snapped the top off by mistake on a light. The couple of little buds were fine but then when I just ground up the top cola I found a seed. When I went back in to look at the plant I noticed a few little almost done seeds starting to come through my buds. I pulled one seed out of the bud still on the plant and it was all green still.

My question is should I harvest em right away to halt any further seed growth or should I let em ripen all the way before harvesting so I don't have little starter seeds getting cut up in my bud. Would either way mess up the quality of the smoke?

I'm assuming you're later in flowering , at least five or six weeks? If so, this is where timing is going to be critical, evidently this plant must've went herm or came into contact with one.

What you'll want to do is pay attention to the appearance, texture, and fragrance of the buds. IF the buds go from being hard to soft, as if they've lost mass, time to pull them, or if you notice they start losing that danky smell, like, "they smelled stronger yesterday than today", cut it down. Any change or decline in the buds appearance such as less trichs. You're basically trying to get it at its best, which usually happens sooner when pollination occurs. Also the pistils will start dying from the bottom out, instead of true sensi, which dies from the tips in.

I had been visting a friend off and on for a month or so. One of his plants musta went hermie since when we were trimming one of his plants we noticed one or two nodes full o seeds.

Im thinking what happened was I got some male dust on me and when I went into my room later that night I brushed against my plant. I have 3 others in the room and they don't look anything like the one that is getting seeds.

Im like 8 or more weeks into flower btw, taking a little longer since im just using flouresents to light em. Here is a pic of the offending top that had the seed i found.
