so i got some auto lemon skunk seeds from a buddy and i have them in grodan waiting for sprouts...im planning on putting them into my unused bubbleponics kit...wondring how i should be nuting them as well as is it ok to put them directly in to my flowering room since theyre autoflowering?? should i wait a couple weeks to put em in there or wait till theyve started to get close to flowering(like the 2nd or 3rd week)?? any help would be sweet thanks.

I have never grown auto flowering plants yet,I have some seeds just not ready yet,but I do know that they dont like to be transplanted and are touchy on the nutes.so I think im going to go with soil on mine, but if you have alot of seeds to grow hydro may be better for you.I thought I seen an auto flower group on here, might get the answers your looking for there good luck

Auto will do great in a DWC. You will start off the nutes just like any other strain, but you will be switching to flower nutes bumping them up quicker. Just keep an eye on the PPM and how much it moves per day and youll get an idea of how much they are eating.

You ask if you can move them to the flower room. If the flower room is on 12/12, you will be wasting 12 hours of grow time everyday. Keep the autos on 24 hrs light, or 20/4 if you wish to have a dark period.

So then just put em in there as soon as I see em sufficiently sprouted as I would when starting any other plant for hydro?

yep, just treat them like any other plant, except for the fact that they will have an accelerated nute schedule. When I grew autos it was cool to see them flower under 24hrs light, and the growth was noticeable every day. In the end I had a fine looking and smelling product, but the buzz was a little lacking.

Yea I grew some auto ak47 x auto blueberry this summer and out of 8 seeds I had 6 males and the 2 fems were 3 to 5 inches tall....I was pretty upset..but I was running them on a 12\12 cycle so I'm intrested to see wat happens this time in the hydro under 24 hrs...ill setup a journal once its up n goin

that sounds scairy, got any related threds? i have heard of giant auto flowers, which is the only reason i have not grown one yet. if you do decide to take another route to grow your plants, i'd sugest using clones, their sexually mature by the time you get em which means as soon as you switch to flowering cycle they flower, though you would want to do this with half to a third of your grow space empty as they will stretch as they are put into the flowering cycle.

yea im running all types of plants and do my own cloning and everything..i just recieved the auto seeds from a buddy and was told to try em out....ive done em in the past but have had bad luck. i like em cuz of the short growing time...hopefully somebody will get the auto thing down eventually, its still a pretty unstable strain...i hear the joint doctors lowryder 1 and 2 are supposed to be the most stable but i havent tried em

hmm deffo gona have to try these some of the more stable strains eventually! though it'd be difficult to find em as im convinced that most of the feed back is screened and cencored (for negative feedback, not swearing)

This all depends on the nutes really. Like if using some thing like Moon Dust which is very forgiving, you can get away with 260 ppm to 300 ppm from days 7 thru 12 after which you would goto about 1000 ppm and keep between 1000 and 1500 until flush (2 weeks prior to completion). I'll say that you should keep PH around 5.8 to 6.2 if your using a Grow Box. If you're using chemicals that's a whole different deal and you'll need to go by their feeding charts or find out elsewhere on the forum. I still stand by the lower PH.

Yea I believe a lot of feedback is screened but I have seen a couple banks that will show both positive and negative feedback which is respectable in my opinion. If ur intrested in the lowryder strains go to lowryder.com n read all about it...the joint doctors been doin em for a long time and seems to kno wat he's doin...I use his basic guidlines when I run any autos. its been like 2 weeks now tho n the lil bastrds haven't sprouted so I'm guessin they're junk which blows. I'm prolly jus gonna throw em n start cloning off 1 of my moms...that seems to work out well haha.
