Questions concerning grow location.

norcal resident here, about to start my first grow, just need help with a location first. as far as i can tell, even with a medi card its still illegal to grow within a "drug free school zone"(1000ft of a school i think). im pretty certain my apt falls within this distance, so im trying to figure out an alternative. what about one of those monthly-rental storage buildings? would that be in any way illegal? i dont have the money to just go buy a plot of farm land somewhere or i'd be doing that. any help or advice is appreciaated.

Just grow it anyways and keep it small. Don't sell to the kiddies at the school (or to anyone out of your home, for that matter) and be chill about it. What the cops don't know, won't hurt them.

for sure. i wasnt planning on selling at all anyway, just a few plants for me. after doing a little more reading I'm not even certain doing it in the school zone makes it illegal(to clarify again, I have my card) so i should be good anyway. thanks for your advice.
