Questions for my first grow

Ok i am finally able to start a grow now but ive ran into some questions:

This is what I have in mind:
  • Closet grow with the following space: 82cm by 58cm
  • Hydroponic setup, either dwc or ebb and flood
  • Veg for approximately 4 weeks
  • Wanting to grow around 4 plants at a time
  • Will veg and flower in the same system without moving the plants
    elsewhere

My questions are:
  • Will that space be enough for 4 plants?
  • What hydroponics system would you recommend I use? This is my first grow.
  • How big of a reservoir do I need?
  • How often do I need to change the nute water?
  • What lighting do you suggest?
  • How often should I water the plants with the hydro system?
  • Should I use net/mesh pots?

I'm growing 6 plants in a little ebb and flow microgarden. This is my first ever grow so I can't give much advise. I feed my plants for 30 minutes every 6 hours. I change the water (10 gal res) once a week if ph/ppm's are out of whack. You will probably need at least a 400 watt mh/hps light but I see a lot of guys lean toward at least a 600 watt bulb. You will need good vented air circulation and a way to keep your res temp below 70 degrees. I'm sure more advance growers will chime in and point you in the right direction. Check out my grow and let me know what you think. It's in a small closet also.

Hi thanks for the reply!

It's not a problem for me to open the closet for a few hours every now and then for ventilation but would this disrupt the lighting too much? I cannot drill any holes in the closet.. would a couple of very small fans inside be enough? (when i say small fans I'm referring to these: http://sclick.net/cool gadgets/coolest-newest-high-tech-fun-gadget/17/coolest-best-latest-top-new-fun-high-technology-electronic-gadgets-retro-usb-fan_1.jpg)

What do you consider as "out of whack" for ppm and ph?
