Questions on a Organic Mix and Organic nutrients.

Ok do you guys suggest I use Happy Frog as my organic soil? If so what would be some good additives Other than perlite? I was planning on using BioThrive Nutes Because I heard it auto balances the PH This true?
And if I am using BioThrive I have no reason to use Any type of Single N P K additive Such as Bat Guano Etc....right? Should I Ph my Nutrient Mix just incase? Oh one more thing Can I add all my Nutrients together in one tub for example Having my biothrive vegging nutes with the cal/mag and The Bio Root All in one tub For feeding? Or do I need seperate containers for each of these items? I have always been confused with feeding and when to use stuff or what to put in my soil to prevent calcium and mag deficiency's..

But If some one could so kindly help with these questions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

If you want to skip out on all the bottled nutes all together, grab 2 bags of soil & whip up 1/4 batch of Subcools super soil.. & only feed water the majority of the grow.. No measuring out nutes.

I thought stuff like bat guano needed to be put in water not the actual soil? Can It be added to the soil directly?

Yes it can.. though usually you let the soil sit for a while before using it.. to allow the microb life in it to get going and thrive.

of course! you can top dress with guano, mix it in as a soil ammendment or soak in water for 24 hrs to make a feeding tea.

bubble? i had application sheet from sunleaves and it just says to let it soak for 24hrs; 48hrs for peruvian guano. But bubbling is more useful for compost/vermiT's. Don't know what good bubbling would do for guano, are there any beneficial bacteria in guano? not even sure if i would do it; guano stinks bad!

Personally, i hate working with guano; its so damn toxic but i wear gloves, goggles and a facial mask. It's a great organic source for N & P.

bubbling would keep it from going anaerobic. in the case of guano going anaerobic it might not be a bad thing but i wouldnt test it. there a bunch of beneficials in guano.

compost tea i make it with gauno not by itslef. i mean what rawbudski said is good way to go, but when i started i was kinda like where the fun in that? some good soil additives, vermiculate, worm cstings, perlite coco coir, dolomite lime, bone meal, greensand and a lot more. the last 2 have nutritional value but breakdown ver very slow. as far as nutes go try building a very low nutritional soil so you can play around with the nute and get the hang of it, i would get a little of both chem and organic nutes with varying styles mixture and amounts based on what i learn from reading and experience.

some of my favorite nutes, guano, pure blend organic(good rock phosphate source), IONIC, centrium vitamin pills, seaweed extract, coconut milk and worm castings

my favorite additives; prozyme(enzymes to catalyze compounds), great white shark mychorazai, hormex for veg and cloning only

Ok say your using those nutes poly I know guano is mainly N so would you need to water with a little bit a guano tea and a little bit of some other additive to get the P K?

relax hes joking yes you should go get some more nutes. but do your research first learn about compost teas microbes nitrogen fixing bacteria mychorazai fungi, NPK ratios what they mean and how plant derive nutrients and the differences between the organic process of plant nutrition and the chemical process of plant nutrition. that should give you plenty to google and when you come back you should have a list of ingredients you need to buy and better questions on what you need to know to use these properly.

grab a book called Teaming with Microbes, by Elaine Ingraham

Its not over your head....and WELL worth the money.

Get on YouTube and search BounTea...I forget his name, buthe has world records and has a very simple method and explanation of ACT's.

It wouldn't do yuou harm just to pick up the entire BounTea kit to have a starting place to learn from...it comes with a CD...and all you need to brew.

Thats how I introduced myself to teas ....I liked the balanced kit....it took alot of guess work about which internet guy to believe....lol...

Then from there it was Sally bar the door....I love ACT...

Get familiar with ACT and your plants will thank you!!!

Mexican Guano which is mostly N is great for Veg...Indonesian/Jamicain guano is good for Flowering; mostly phosphorus; Peruvian Guano is more balanced so it's a good source for N & P. I rely on Kelp and Molasses for K. If you use a tea (which you should be using Kelp/Molasses/Humic Acid) each week you get sufficient K

Teaming with Microbes is a great buy...also check out "The Compost Tea Brewing Manuel, 5th Edition" by Elaine Ingham...this you can buy for $300 on Amazon or download the pdf @ http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=the compost tea brewing manuel&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CF8QFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Flivingsoilsp2011.files.wordpress.com%2F2011%2F05%2Fbrew-manual-04-28-08.pdf&ei=p8J1T6y2L8KZiQKxhLWoDg&usg=AFQjCNGeZMIrfpqs5UKx1_x235K2baTpQw&cad=rja
