Questions on switching to flowering + foliar sprays?

I've looked online here, and done a Google search to find the answer I am looking for. There are too many variables to find a straight answer for my strain. Obviously, I'm growing hydro DWC. The strain of the plant is Cocopopo 'O.G. Chocolate Thai x Cannalope Haze'. <---linked for info. This is my first photoperiod grow.

It says on this page that this strain needs 9-10 weeks flowering time (indoor), or 2.3 months. Right now I am on my 5th week of vegetation, and I am wondering how soon I should think about switching to flowering. In my signature is the link to my grow journal for this plant... if you can take a look, that would be great. It says that this strain has little stretch, and I can attest to this because it started out shorter and bushier than any plant I have grown. However, I read that when I switch to flowering, photoperiod Sativas can really grow tall. I got plenty of room for that though, so it's not a problem... my grow tent is 6.5 x 3.2 x 3.2 feet. (100x100x200 cm) I am just looking for the sweet spot when I should switch to get the best yield.

Some helpful advice from the community is what I am looking for. Right now I am thinking to let it go until the end of March and then switch over. What do you guys think?

Also, I read quite a bit that some of the guys here are mixing foliar sprays. I read you can mix water and Hydroguard for a foliar spray. But, I've never sprayed my plants with anything... ever. Am I missing out on something?

hard to say on when to flip: i've had some i thought would not stretch that stretched way too much and vice versa.

not sure what good a foliar with hydroguard would do?

Hydroguard is for your roots. Not your leafs.

If you want to foliar, spray with some cal mag plus. I'm sure there are specific things for it but that is what I have done when I had issues.

The plant is almost guaranteed to double in size. If sativa it may triple in size. And then the buds will even grow further on top of that stretch. So you want to flip when you think the plant doubling in size will fill out your tent.

Flip early cause over growing the tent sucks.

Yeah, I got no idea about spraying plants with anything. Never done this, never saw a reason. I probably shouldn't mess around with spraying my plant with anything I guess.
