questions regarding cfl bulbs

so i just flipped to 12/12 and wanted to hit my plant with a red spectrum this time. never done it and was curious to see the difference. thing is i don't have a red bulb and don't really feel like getting up and going to home depot to buy a few. i was wondering if there was any way of making them using CFL bulbs. i been reading, some people color them with sharpies and call it a day. i can't possibly see that working, or can it? if anyone has another idea let me know. if not i guess ill be getting my lazy ass up -_-

yeah it works fine just use warm white 2700k works best during flowering good luck on your grow hope for the best!

Why don't you just order some from ebay or amazon? Then you don't even have to leave your house

i just have like 62 thousand cfl bulb in my shed -_- lol trying to put them to good use

I don't see it working very well but tbh have never tried to myself. Good luck my friend, you should report back with what kind of harvest you get I for one would be interested to know
