Quick Diagnose pls

Hi people,
Im still new after a longer break of growing. My seedling start to yellow and I can't say for sure what's going on. If somebody could help me diagnose what's going on that would help a lot.
Setup:3gal shoes, ~200w light @75% @ 12", slow release organic fertiliser. About 1,5 weeks in. The other one looks way better. I kept the soil a little moist but not too wet. Thanks

What light do you have? I'd back the light off a bit if it's actually a 200w LED and let her dry out some. The mulch will keep the moisture in. The mix might be a bit hot for a seedling, and once you add a plethora of light alongside feed you might run into issues.

I have a 240w board dimmed to 180w 28" away from four week old plants. It's at 680umol/s over 18 hours for a dli of 44. At 150w/12", for reference, its at something like 1020umol/s in the hotspot. At 18 hours that would be a DLI of 66. At 12 hours it would be a DLI of 44.

150w of LED at 12" (if quality white) will be a far, far higher DLI and Frankly not needed for a plant this early. 200W/75% at 12 inches is is the general intensity you would expect once you flip to a 12 hour cycle around week 4-6.

I'd either raise the light to 24" of you have the height, or dim to 50%. .you don't need the penetration yet anyway, and give her some time to dry out and aerate. Poke some holes in the medium with a thin skewer and it'll dry out a bit quicker.

that thing is doomed from the start you need to have a proper germination otherwise youre going to struggle and have reduced yields

No probs.. I always advise starting in a 4" or so pot of peat moss/perlite or straight coco/perlite with a small amount of vermicompost and then transplant into a bigger, more robust organic mix later on, or use a lighter, less nutrient dense mix up the top of the pot and put a more robust mix down the bottom..

Its an auto plant and I am not going to transplant.its just a fun grow for collecting more experience than big yields plus I don't habe bigger pots and only little space.

I was mainly mentioning starter pots (1L) for future runs. You save space, gain ease of movement and have to use less feed and water over the first few weeks and can use a lighter, more appropriate medium for germination and rooting. After 14-21 days or the 4th-5th set of leaves you throw it into the 3 gallon pot with the more robust feed. 3 gallons itself is already plenty for an auto, your fine there, and there's nothing wrong with slow release either, its just that it can be harsh on the new plant.

Medium is one of the more important variables in the equation, and providing an optimal start for autos is a good move. When you only have 3-4 weeks to get a decent start, KISS is the best bet, and a starter pot of decent seed and cutting mix can go a long way.

What do you mean by KISS? Never heard of that..and yes the first time slow release. It's harder than I thought. Somehow it doesn't seem to play out. Even though I added plenty of mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria it still looks very deficient. Light is still running on 30% even though I'm 7 weeks in already. when I increase light intensity she shows signs of light stress.
@ mos eisley: you were right, the other was doomed..

If that's a true 200w power draw led at 75% 12" that's way too much for a seedling. Raise the light to 24" and dim to 30- 40% and see how that goes.
