Quick evaluation (WITH PICS), Help me out guys!

So i checked on my friend today and snapped a few pics. I noticed some of the medium and larger fan leaves are turning yellow and falling off, however the tops of the stems look nice and green with some serious white buddage starting to form. So quick questions,

1.) Is it normal/okay for the medium and larger fan leaves to turn yellow and die at this point in the plants life cycle?

3.) How does this plant look health wise?

2.) Is a 100x microscope okay to use when checking the resin color in the glands?

I appreciate all feedback! Only a few more weeks everyone! Thanks!

Seems you may have a nitrogen deficiency do you have a meter to check? It looks like you still have awhile to flower so you maybe able to give a LITTLE amount of nitrogen to help but you can't once you get close to harvesting but once it gets close to being done they will turn yellow and fall of anyways.

looks perfectly normal. the plants are using the food stored into the older bigger fanleaves to feed off of. i wouldnt feed any more nitorgen heavey shit now. continue to use flowering ferts, and wait it out. looks great

I think chitown is on the right path. I wouldn't go panicking and throwing nutes on it. Just trim off the yellow leaves because at this point all they are doing is draining resources from your flowers. I would remove any fan leaves that are damaged or blocking light to a growth tip. When flowering I tend to thin out my plants right up till the end. I keep the middle cleared out of any big leaves letting the light get to way more flower sites. You are trying to grow bud not big ass ugly fan leaves. I know others will disagree with my pruning practices but opinions are like ass hole's, every body has one.

Thanks for both replies so far! What type of ferts do you guys recommend at this stage in the game? Or no ferts at all? This is my only plant, first time, and just trying to do it right.

u need a fert higher in P when flowering
say a ratio of 1-2-2

Use ferts with lower N values, and higher PK values. They vary by brand, but things like 5-15-15 or 5-20-15 are pretty common. I believe phosphorous is your most important nute during this phase. Also, about 2 weeks out from harvest stop adding nutes and just water. You want to give the plant some time to get the fert out of its system so it doesn't effect the taste once you harvest.

They look good, You just have to prune off them yellow leaves. Thats what happens when they flower. When the leaves start to get yellow prune them off. The more the plant has to focus on its leaves they less it can focus on its buds.

For out door, I would get Alaska Morbloom. Thats what I use Outdoor. It works good. I mix in SuperThrive too (a cap every 1-2 gallons. a cap every 3 gollons your first time using it) I use bud candy too it gives the bud a sticky, stinky, gooiness.

chop off yellow ones, leave green ones, as plant needs fan leaves to produce sugars needed for bud production.
