Quick help please!

I just planted my seeds and have a quick question. I let my rockwool soak in ph 6 water for about 12 hours and then sit on a paper towel and dry out for about 24 hours then poked a hole and planted my seeds and then placed the rockwool cubes in my hydroton and started running my system. I was wondering if I should maybe spray the cubes/rockwool with some water or if they are fine and will naturally reach for the water in my buckets on their own??

make sure they stay moist in this early stage and keep the humidity up. You don't want to over water em though so dont have em be sopping/dripping wet, trial and error. Just keep a close eye on them but don't give em too much love.

Oh and next time soak your rockwool in ph of 5.0 to 5.5.

Thanks man and I just checked my ppm and its at 440 I was told it should be at about 330ish, note I haven't added any nutes yet only a small dose of ph down, what should I do to get the ppm down?

Only thing you can do to lower Ppm is buy reverse osmosis water from a local store,or get yourself a R/O unit
or Buy spring water,anything that has Been filtered multiple times
i hear britta filters will work if you have nothing else....not sure never tried

^^^ agree, or you can use distiled water till the plants are ready for some nutes( usually 3-4 nodes of growth. Main thing is not to overwater, as water is life, it is also a poison if too much is used.

Appreciate the replies guys I think im going to start up a journal so people can keep yup with mne and hjelp me out along the way. My 600way mh light is about a foot and a half away from my buckets and Im using the oxy pro 6 drain and flood but I still feel like the light is drying out/burning my rockwool cubes, should I be worried?

i let my rockwool seedlings sit on a plate with a little bit of water in the bottom till i see roots appear. soaks what it needs up like a sponge that way.

Cool thanks man , soo my ph is still at 7.5 and ive been trying to get it down to 6 but every time I add some ph down it barely goes down and I feel like im adding too much to the resovoir and its not doing anything. Itrs a brand new ph meter so idk what the problem is, any suggestions?
