Quick Lighting Question

So my plant has been in the flowering stage 2 weeks and its been 8 days since the first pistols showed. Since then i'm happy to report that my girl has been growing like crazy and there are white hairs sprouting up everywhere.

Right now I'm using a mix of 3 6500K bulbs and 3 2700K bulbs. Is it okay to have 6500K bulbs during flowering if there are 2700K bulbs present and the light cycle is kept strictly at 12/12.

Also, due to my current setup none of the bulbs are above the plant, they are mostly surrounding it and a few are a couple inches above the plant vertically but a safe distance away to prevent burning.

Just looking for some input on these two lighting questions...

Burn all you got in flower! There is a point of diminshing returns, but you'd know it if you had too much light. Likely youd be fighting heat really badly. Weeks 1-6 in flower, I burn all the bulbs I have available for flowering. You can get by with less in veg.

I used to run a MH for vegging and a hps for flower. The gals grew well under either, but they preferred the hps. Above that, they really liked it when I had both going. Burn em all, and concern yourself with penetration over color temp anyday. best of luck to ya

use all the lights you can. I use CFL's too and have a combined 600+ watts of CFLs surrounding the plants on all sides. I use a home made PVC tube set up that has 10 total spots for lights and use y adapters to turn that into 20 CFL's and I use 2 T5 panels on the sides and clamp reflector for the front. You can never have too many CFL's as long as you have a fan for circulation...

but to directly answer out question. yes it is ok. I use a variety of spectrum of CFL's to mimick the sun as much as possible and my plants LOVE it

what do mean by above the plant vertically? if your saying youve got it so the sides of the bulbs light is just shooting out horizontally a few inches above the plant you should get you a couple y splitters, they cost like 2 bucks and then you can hang your lights horizontally over the plant so you dont waste like 90% of the light they are putting out. im not saying that with all of them, just those above the plant vertical ones. bathe her in light all over, youve got the right idea there.
