Quick Nitrogen Deficiency Question............

I had nitrogen deficiency because my plant was over a month old and i hadn't started to add nutes...so I did. Now the new growth is darker green but the old fan leaves that suffered chlorosis have not turned back to green.
How will I know when the problem is taken care of?
Do the affected leaves from nitrogen deficiency ever turn green again?

With a lil time they should green back up. Any time my plants have been stressed I like to use a lil vitamin b supplement. Helps them bounce back quicker and stronger. I use B-52 from Advanced Nutrients but there are several other products out there that would suffice.:bigjoint:

Great. Thanks for the advice. Are there any organic sources of vitamin B? Anything in my house I could use instead of running out and paying money for vitamin B supplements?

Vit B will help in the uptake of nutrients, it's not a nutrient itself in the sense that it's not going to fix a nitrogen deficency. It's not that the plant can't absorb nutes, its that he hasn't given them any.

But, you're not going to gain back much of the color in those fan leaves, that's a damaged area and as your upper canopy grows and flourishes, it will cut off the light in those lower areas affected. Really the best thing to do, sounds like you've already done it and just work on keeping the new growth healthy before you bud. Otherwise, you might end up caring too much and mess up what you do have going well.

Well then shou8ld I trim the affected leaves since they they can't photosynthesize? How damaged should the leaf be before I trim it?

most damage wont come back green. why waste the energy to try and green them take em off and let the foods help the healthy part of the plant. waste of time to try and reveice a damages leaf..causes the rest of the plant stress by taking the foods and directing them to the deff erea that may never green again anyways.

if you wanna green them up quicker then foliar feed with a veg food, but make sure you can use it for foliar feeding.. spray both sides of leaves and not in direct sunlight

I had a bad deficiency problem too, the leaves that yellowed bad i just cut off. But the ones that weren't too yellow greened back up in about a week or so.
