quick Panasonic inline fan question

This will be one of the dumbest questions in rollitup history but I need to know..


I'm thinking about purchasing this fan to be used as an exhaust for my small stealth grow box. I plan on setting this fan on the ground and sticking a duct vent on this fan that will connect to a hole I will cut out at the very top of my grow box .

Does this fan simply come with a power cord that I just plug into a wall outlet? I've head people talking about having to wiring this fan. What are they talking about?

ok, I found my answer, looks like I will have to hard wire it.

Can i simply use a spare power cord from my computer?

yup, I belive so, use a small conjuction box and hard wire the fans. Not sure just what going on with your wiring. Luckly for me mine are DC powered. That looks like it could be noisey after about 40 hrs. all that loose metal being tied together by rivits or screws.

Just thinking out loud.
