hey just a question here when the fan leaves cover your budds is it best to cut them off or just tie them out of the way

I just push them out of the way. don't cut them the plant uses them for bud growth during flowering

yup. don't cut anything that isn't dieing off.
(though, i've been known to cut a finger or two to get a little better light)

thnks for the help guys. one more question for ne one out there . if you were to use metal ( twist tie, coat hanger, pipe cleaner) will the rust effect the plant ?

You can probably just tuck them behind the bud or bend them a bit until they are out of the way. Tie ties are fine though
