quick question about re-vedging

hii!!! my friend has a plant that's been badly treated, the plant originally was inside, on a 12 12 cycle, then due to unfortunate circumstances the plant had to be put out side a few weeks ago, more like a month and a half, anyway. the plant seems to be budding with small buds in some areas and vedging in others, the new growth at the top is vedge and the buds are on the stalk in the center of the plant, what i want to know is, will this area that is already budding end up with less bud on it because it's revedging? or will it just bud ontop of this old bud which has been there for a while... :blsmoke: thanks !

Hi,
The plant will continue to reveg and whatever buds are already on there will amber off. You can remove that bud and smoke it or just leave it on and it will eventually brown right off as the new veg growth develops. It depends what you want to do with her, let her reveg until she's back to 5 normal 5 bladers OR put her back into 12/12 now and re flower her, but I'd give her time to come back into full veg personally. Basically as she reveges the buds wont get much bigger. Hope this answers your question? I have many years of experience with revegging plants.

^I agree, it's pretty futile to keep it on 12/12, and expect good results. At best, you'll end up with a looooong flowering period, complete with a bunch of leafy, weird-looking, 'airy' buds that aren't very potent. I'll put another vote in for a proper re-veg, then re-flowering. :)

keeping it on 12 12 is the only thing i can do as the plant is out door and is getting about 13 hours of light a day now. it's currently growing up still and stretching, however the buds are starting to form.
