Quick Question About spectrum of light for flower?

Heres my question, I know hps orange red spectrum is best for flowering and thats what most hps have, they also make the ones with a blue spectrum in them .Are these better to use for flower .It just seems like it might make the plant want to stretch or take longer to start flowering with blue spectrum in there, any one have an opinion on that? THank You All:-?

HPS (or 2700k CFL) simulate the fall sun, when plants start to flower. MH (Metal Halide) (or 6500k CFL) simulate daylight, or the time of year that plants are in vegetative state, ie. growing toward flowering time.

Some people mix up the spectrum, 80/20%, but it isn't necessary. It's exceptionally common to veg with MH and flower with HPS. It just works ;)
