Quick question chrismas lights?

havin a lil drink an i jus had a random fort pop in my head rite here i go....


if i put chrismas lights on the side walls would that be better cos surly say the bulbs are 1 watt each theres about 40 on each set that makes 40w?
iv got a few set lying about.. im not a pro an i know sum ppl are gonna start screaming at me but guess thats why i posted in the newb thread rep +

what spectrum would u say thay where?

I have heard of people using LED xmas lights, but I have never seen results. That being said, I recommend you break any plastic over the LEDs, also make sure the LEDs them selves are actually red and green and not white or something like that. I'm really not sure if it'd work/what spectrum they are. Personally I'd just stick with CFLs

im only growing in a 3x2 box an im using 2 45w cfls and 2 22w cfls also 2 20w tube bulbs im goind to add 2 sets off xmas lights the the left and right side of the box jus to see if having light all around will make it more bushy as u can see im restricted in height its only an experement so input would help iv also seen the wattage for each bulb is 3w...

What are the dimensions of your box..you said 3x2. We need length x width x depth , so a little more information to really be able to help you out. What do you mean by "experiment"? Are you going to grow or what? Inquiring minds like to know hehehe. Help us help you. This is newbie central, so there shouldn't be much screaming.
