do carbon filters need to be exhausted, or can they be placed in the grow room with a intake fan?
Meaning, can you scrub the air? If so, yes.do carbon filters need to be exhausted, or can they be placed in the grow room with a intake fan?
does it work well for smell and does it help heat at all?Meaning, can you scrub the air? If so, yes.
No doesn't help heat. That is if you're scrubbing. Venting is a different story, I like scrubbing better.does it work well for smell and does it help heat at all?
rep+ thanks, ill be making a homemade do you know if they are still good compared to the real ones?No doesn't help heat. That is if you're scrubbing. Venting is a different story, I like scrubbing better.
Helps smell tremendously!!!! Get the right size for the task at hand and they can damn near eliminate the smell except for when you handle them of course.
Even then, the proper size unit will eliminate the smell within mins./sec.
Well some claim to have a better design than some. Like Phat Filter. But IDK.rep+ thanks, ill be making a homemade do you know if they are still good compared to the real ones?
thanks a lotIf you decide to scrub then your filter should come with a prefilter so have your fan pulling air out of the filter so that the prefilter can catch larger shit, crushed leaves, dirt etc. etc.
