Quick Question regarding old harvested plant

so i harvested a plant maybe a month & a half ago, & left 4 buds on to reveg, that didnt work out, so i left it in the dark in the closet. i opened my closet to clean it out & i forgot it was in there, the buds have lightened in color & dried, snaped str8 off the branch & have also started to yellow slightly, but i still see trichs all over, i was wondering is it safe to smoke the remaining buds on this plant?

When you tried to reveg your plant, did you repot it in nice fresh soil and trim the rootball or did you just switch back to 24/0 and give it a ton of nutrienta?
