Quick Question - Roots Ripped Off Plant

OK so I have a plant going that's about 4 weeks old, it was poorly taken care of as we had many others to worry about... I come outside one morning and the plant was ripped half way out of the pot, which was probably my cat or something didn't really care as it was 1 small screwed up plant, so I decided to rip all the roots off the bottom of the stem and replant it into the ground. It's still alive as of right now and I'm wondering if because I ripped the roots off and replanted it, it will start to go back into veg and grow more without budding (because it has to focus on building its roots once again), I don't know if this makes sense but I feel like this is what is going down as of right now, the plant has gotten bigger and i don't think its been budding any more then it already has.

Does this make sense?

Picture of the plant (lol)

You may also want to know that the plant was auto-flowering, was budding 4 weeks in because of bad timing with the pot transplanting...

If its happy and looks healthy why not pull it back up and cut it right and add some cloning gel - and go back to work?

No one should give advice online about how to save plants with torn roots. Someone stole my plants today by ripping them out by there roots. I would bet money that morons who steal people's plants come on sites like this to get advice on how to save plants they damaged after stealing them. Any legit gardener knows not to rip plants out by the roots. Please everyone stop giving out how to save your plant tips. Anyone who spends the money into buying and growing plants learns about how to care for them first.

Since roots are the most important part of the plant... and you purposely ripped all the roots off instead of leaving them on....it's hard to say what will happen.

Sorry you got ripped off.... but to say no one should give advice is wrong. What do you think these sites are for? I wouldn't be half the grower I am without rui. And asking people questions. Anyone who spends the money into buying and growing plants should protect their crops better or have them in a spot that no human would dare to travel.
