Quick question.

So if I were to start growing in a small closet, with the higher light spectrum for vegetation (5000-6500k), instead of moving everything around in my closet for flowering, I can just switch the lights to (2700k-3000k) and my closet will be alright for flowering, right?

yes that will work or you could mix both colours and use for both veg and flower more red or warm white for flower and get the plants as close to the lights as poss .

Yeah thats exactly what i do even though I run my 150w HPS during veg as well.
I even run a couple 6500k tubes to help aide with a dual spectrum during flowering.

i would use the 150hps all the way through out the grow if you got it. hps is more red so if anything you should use for flower not veg. but to get better results use it for both veg and flower

I haven't purchased any specific bulbs yet, what is an 150hps? Is this a bulb I should get ontop of the CFL bulbs?

hps means high pressure sodium they are debatably the best light to grow your bud in flower. cfl's are cheap and easy for people to use but you wont get the results a hps grower would get. i reccomend you do your research before going out and buying anything rresearch everything. peace
