Yes, you can use those tops as cuttings. You should be able to get roots from 10-12 days or more, depending on your cloning technique.
Some rooting powder from Lowes or some gel from the hydro store might increase your chances. You need to keep those clones humid for the time before they root..
You can make two of these "cloning machines" out of two two-liter clear soda bottles with tops.
Look at the bottle. With a razor blade, cut about an inch below the rounded part at the top. cut the top off there. That is your lid. Now trim the middle section of the bottle off, leaving the bottom and like 6 inches up. That is your bottom .. Drill a few holes in the bottom for drainage.
Now you fill that with dirt, moisten it, put your clone in there, and put the top on with the lid. You can unscrew the lid once a day for breathing..
