quicker harvest??

need advice plz, 2weeks to go, need to finnish in 1 week, does slowly cutting the hour of light per day incourage the plant to finnish faster??? any input apreciated, any1 with first hand experience on this?? thanx in advance:shock:
 
you can't make a plant finish faster, you can just cut it down early and sacrifice yield and quality. If you want a plant to finish faster get AK-47.
 
if you put it into 18off 6on then ive heard it finishes quicker because it thinks its getting to winter
 
ya there's not much you can do , ive tried to cut the light down to 16off 8on, and 18-6 and it doesn't help trust me. If you have to cut it early you are better off leaving it natural 12-12 therefore it at least doesn't stress you plant. Looks like the time machine may be your best bet. If you are just anxious to smoke, hold off the temptation, nothing can make up for the last couple of weeks. If chopping for other reasons, its your own call.
 
supposedly i've heard growers in BC messing with photo period succesfully, by switching to 12-6 to speed things up...now i've never tried it, but hey maybe it'll work!!!!
 
i would avoid all that and stick with 12/12.....i was just pointing out plants might not think but they can tell what they should be doing based on the amount of light on em and in theory it could work but im not gonna try anything beyond going to 10 on 14 off the last week.let someone else ruin a bunch of their plants till they figure it all out. lol

ye thats what i thaught, if u cut the light down by half hr every 3-4 days until u get down to 10 on 14 off, the plant thinks winter is on its way and has once last spurt in bud growth and matures quicker, i knew that but wanted to ask some1 who had tried it!!

why say there is n othing u can do when u clearly can??????????

im not choping to smoke, have some already, other reasons, as for quality and yeild, there is plenty there and i mean plenty and it is top quality already, not being big headed but its better than most with 1 week to go!!

u quoted this guy, but hes right what hes saying, the plant has a byialogical clock built into its genetics and it recognised light patterns, so he is right what hes saying, he just didnt word it right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
if your not too worried about yield go and try the 10on-14 off or even 8 on 16 off......tell us how it goes.it will probally increase resin levels and such. i hope it all goes great for ya brother. good luck :)
